Done for Zarpara Vineyard in Willcox, Arizona.
While Zarpara was itching for a label redesign, they weren't looking to reinvent their brand. I provided them with something familiar but refreshing, and illustrations that are themed to each of their varietals. Silver foil was added to their higher priced bottles to give them a visual richness and elevated appeal.
Zarpara is a Spanish word meaning to set sail or weigh anchor. Zarpara owners Rhona and Mark did just that in 2009 when they began their winery. The combined vineyard and tasting room are tucked under the Dos Cabezas Mountains in southeastern Arizona, in an area called the Willcox Bench.
